I’m currently recruiting for an established law firm seeking an experienced Property Legal Secretary to provide dedicated support to an Equity Partner specialising in Commercial and Residential Property.
This is an excellent opportunity for a career Legal Secretary who enjoys traditional secretarial work, takes pride in being organised and efficient, and can confidently manage a busy workload with minimal supervision.
The role will involve providing full secretarial and administrative support to the Partner, preparing legal documents and property packs, conducting Land Registry and property searches, completing AML checks, submitting SDLT returns, liaising with clients and lenders, and managing day-to-day administrative tasks.
Candidates should have at least five years’ legal secretarial experience, with strong Commercial Property experience essential. Residential Property experience would be advantageous, alongside excellent typing, communication and organisational skills. Experience with LEAP or similar legal case management systems would also be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be proactive, resilient and comfortable taking ownership of their workload, anticipating the Partner’s needs and working efficiently under pressure.
