Job Role: Solicitor – Residential Conveyancing

Location: South East London

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £65,000 + DOE

We are recruiting a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a well-established law firm in South East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion
• Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds and remortgages
• Dealing with transfers of equity, transfers of part and bridging finance
• Drafting legal documentation and providing high-quality legal advice
• Achieving a target of 5 chargeable hours per day
• Accurate time recording and regular billing
• Building client relationships and contributing to business development

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years PQE
• Current practising certificate with no restrictions
• Experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing
• Familiarity with the UK Finance Lenders’ Handbook
• Ability to manage matters independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication, organisational and client care skills
