BD & Business Manager | International Law Firm | London (EC2N) | up to £70k with hybrid working

A leading international law firm is looking for a BD & Business Manager to support the continued growth of its highly regarded Construction practice.

This is a broad role combining business development, marketing and business management, working closely with the Construction leadership team and senior stakeholders across the firm.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the development and delivery of the Construction group's BD and growth strategy.
  • Working with partners and fee earners on client development, account plans, cross-selling and new business opportunities.
  • Developing and delivering targeted marketing campaigns, events and client engagement activity.
  • Managing directory submissions, awards, credentials and sector communications.
  • Supporting leadership meetings, strategic projects and wider business initiatives.
  • Providing analysis and reporting around financial performance, client activity and business development pipelines.
  • Supporting budgeting, business cases and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Co-line managing a Marketing & BD Executive.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience within a professional services environment, ideally a law firm or partnership.
  • Strong business development, marketing or strategic growth experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence working with senior partners and fee earners.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Strong Excel, Power Point, CRM and wider technology skills.
  • Experience within Construction, Infrastructure or a related sector would be advantageous.
