We are recruiting a Senior Litigator / Head of Litigation to join an in-house legal team under the banner of a recognised law firm. This is a hands-on, senior role for an experienced litigator with a strong track record in property disputes, who is comfortable running complex matters independently while playing a key role in shaping the direction of the litigation function.

The role

  • Leading a varied caseload of property litigation, primarily breach of contract disputes
  • Acting on both residential and commercial property matters, including leasehold disputes
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and settlement agreements
  • Representing clients in court, mediations and negotiations
  • Working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and commercially focused service

About you

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales
  • 10+ years’ PQE with substantial property litigation experience
  • Strong background in residential and commercial property disputes
  • Proven experience with leasehold matters
  • Rights of audience
  • Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills
  • Able to manage matters independently with minimal supervision
  • Commercial, practical and solution-focused

This position is suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, takes ownership of their work and is comfortable leading from the front in a senior in-house role.

Note
