We are recruiting a Senior Litigator / Head of Litigation to join an in-house legal team under the banner of a recognised law firm. This is a hands-on, senior role for an experienced litigator with a strong track record in property disputes, who is comfortable running complex matters independently while playing a key role in shaping the direction of the litigation function.
The role
- Leading a varied caseload of property litigation, primarily breach of contract disputes
- Acting on both residential and commercial property matters, including leasehold disputes
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and settlement agreements
- Representing clients in court, mediations and negotiations
- Working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and commercially focused service
About you
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales
- 10+ years’ PQE with substantial property litigation experience
- Strong background in residential and commercial property disputes
- Proven experience with leasehold matters
- Rights of audience
- Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills
- Able to manage matters independently with minimal supervision
- Commercial, practical and solution-focused
This position is suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, takes ownership of their work and is comfortable leading from the front in a senior in-house role.
Note
