An established law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Cashier to manage financial operations and lead a team. The role involves posting client and office transactions, managing bank reconciliations, month-end closures, and VAT returns, and assisting with annual audits. You will also handle supplier invoices, payment runs, and liaise with counsel and experts regarding disbursements.
Additionally, you will supervise the billing clerk, manage aged debt, generate management reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will collaborate with partners, fee earners, and support staff, and be responsible for petty cash, expenses, and reporting to senior partners. Strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and experience with XERO and LEAP are essential.
This dynamic role requires someone who can manage accounting operations while ensuring smooth office administration across two sites.
