An excellent senior opportunity has arisen with one of the region’s most respected firms, recognised in Chambers for its work with high-net-worth clients and holding a market-leading position in its location.

With a well-established reputation in the Residential Development and new homes sector, the firm is now seeking a senior solicitor to step into a key leadership role, taking ownership of its specialist offering and playing a pivotal part in managing and driving future growth.

The Role

In this role you will:

  • Lead on the sale of new homes for developer clients, including site set-up and supervision of the plot sales process
  • Act for purchasers of new homes, managing site appraisals, enquiries, and conveyancing transactions
  • Oversee and mentor a team of solicitors, conveyancers, and paralegals in a busy and collaborative environment
  • Build and strengthen relationships with developer clients, panel appointments, and other stakeholders
  • Drive business development initiatives and play an active role in shaping the growth of the team

About You

You will bring strong leadership and technical expertise, with a proven track record in both plot sales and new homes purchases. The firm is looking for someone who can also offer:

  • 5+ years’ experience in residential development, ideally covering both plot sales and acting for purchasers
  • Technical expertise in site setup, infrastructure arrangements, Land Registry, and lender requirements
  • Experience managing preferred solicitor panels and working within industry protocols (such as CQS and consumer codes)
  • Proven supervisory skills, with the ability to handle high-volume work accurately and efficiently
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach
  • A proactive outlook, with an interest in business development and process improvement
