Public Law Solicitor 2 years PQE+ – Salary £47-65K dep on exp, City of London. Hybrid working
We are recruiting for a Public Law Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team who are ranked and recommended for its excellence at this Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners UK top tier law firm in London.
Their public law department undertakes both legal aid and privately funded work and has experience in all aspects of civil liberties and judicial review claimant matters against the Home Office, HMRC, local authority, NHS including obtaining emergency orders and other interim relief to prevent human rights violations.
Reporting directly to the Department Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of Public Law work including:
- Unlawful detention
- False imprisonment
- Abuse by detention staff
- Asylum support
- NHS & Local Authority challenges
It would be ideal if you are a Law Society Immigration Accreditation Level 2 (IAAS) & Supervisor, but this is not essential. The experience does not have to be limited to immigration cases. It can be wider Judicial Review challenges in Community Care, Data, Education law and Housing.
