NQ Residential Conveyancing Solicitor | £45,000 | Sevenoaks office | 1-day WFH after probation
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a well-established, highly regarded regional firm with several offices including Central London. This is a full-service, modern legal and consulting practice serving clients across the UK and overseas, with a long-standing reputation and a portfolio of legendary clients across all regions.
The firm has been operating for many years and continues to be recognised for its personalised approach, supportive culture, and commitment to driving positive change. Joining their collaborative and welcoming team, you will gain exposure to a broad caseload and excellent exposure from experienced Solicitors to further your career.
The Role
You will focus primarily on Residential Property matters, with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain valuable exposure in Commercial Property work. The firm does not require previous Commercial Property experience, only an understanding from training or previous seats, but you will be given the chance to develop further skills in this area alongside your main Residential caseload.
Residential Property work will include; however you don’t need to all experience below:
- Sales and Purchases of Leasehold and Freehold properties
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Lease extensions
- Shared ownership transactions
- Listed building transactions
- House sales in conservation areas
- Legal issues relating to agricultural restrictions
Requirements
- NQ Solicitor with a Residential Property seat completed.
- Exposure or understanding of basic Commercial Property transactions (no experience needed)
- Enjoy working in an office environment
- A personable, collaborative team player
- Positive, driven attitude with eagerness to learn and develop
