An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Solicitor / Senior Associate to join a modern and ambitious London law firm specialising in complex dispute resolution for businesses, property owners, entrepreneurs and private clients. Based in Covent Garden, the firm has a growing UK and international client base and advises across a broad range of contentious matters.
The successful candidate will primarily focus on Property Litigation and Contractual / Commercial Disputes, with the opportunity to become involved in other areas of the firm’s disputes practice, including sports-related matters. The work may include:
- Property and landlord & tenant disputes
- Lease, possession and property ownership disputes
- Development, building and property-related claims
- Contractual and wider commercial disputes
- Shareholder, director and partnership disputes
- Professional negligence and debt-related claims
- High-value and more complex contentious matters
This is a senior appointment and would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their matters and developing strong client relationships. Importantly, the firm is looking for someone with a genuine interest and proven ability in business development. There is an existing caseload to work with, however all senior fee earners are expected to contribute to bringing new work into the practice and developing their own network and client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Approximately 8-10+ years’ PQE in litigation / dispute resolution
- Strong experience in Property Litigation and Contractual / Commercial Disputes
- The ability to manage matters independently from instruction through to resolution
- Strong commercial judgement and client management skills
- A demonstrable track record of business development and generating work
- A confident, personable and entrepreneurial approach
