We’re working on behalf of a highly regarded, sector-focused international law firm to recruit a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join its London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong business development experience who is looking to build a long-term career within the legal field.

Our client is a global law firm with a strong international footprint across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. Known for its commercial, pragmatic approach, the firm advises clients across complex and highly regulated sectors, delivering solutions that combine legal expertise with real commercial insight.
The Team
You’ll join a collaborative Marketing & Business Development function that supports sector and practice groups, regional offices and central marketing operations. This role sits within the sector-focused M&BD team, primarily supporting the Aerospace, Construction and Insurance/Reinsurance practices, while also contributing to wider team initiatives as needed.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Business Development – Sectors, you’ll provide hands-on support across a broad range of marketing and BD activities. The firm is particularly keen to speak with candidates who have strong BD exposure and enjoy working closely with fee earners on live opportunities. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the delivery of pitches, panels and capability statements to tight deadlines
- Assisting with BD pipeline tracking, reporting and follow-up activity
- Researching and collating information to support new business opportunities
- Coordinating legal directory and awards submissions
- Supporting client account management activity
- Helping to deliver and promote events, webinars and sponsorships
- Managing and updating marketing collateral, credentials and CVs
- Assisting with wider departmental projects and covering during team absences
About You
You’ll be degree-educated (or equivalent), ideally in marketing, with at least one year’s relevant experience in a professional services environment. Strong written skills, excellent organisation and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels are essential. Experience with CRM systems and a genuine interest in business development will be highly valued.
