We are working on behalf of a highly regarded London law firm to recruit an experienced Personal Assistant to support a senior Partner within its busy Dispute Resolution team. This Partner sits on the firm’s Management Board, making confidentiality, professionalism and sound judgement absolutely essential. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting a litigation practice spanning financial services, international trade, fraud and contentious insolvency. The successful candidate will thrive under pressure, demonstrate strong character and confidence, and be proactive in anticipating needs and managing competing priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complex diary and inbox management
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Supporting case management and litigation processes
- Organising travel, meetings and events
- Assisting with billing and file management
- Supporting additional Associates and/or Partners as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience supporting a Partner within litigation
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- A proactive approach with the confidence to prompt and manage upwards
- Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Fast and accurate typing (65 wpm)
- Absolute discretion when handling sensitive information
