We are acting for a leading property investment business seeking to appoint an additional solicitor into its established in-house property team. The business operates nationwide and brings over 26 years of experience in the property investment sector, with a strong track record of completing transactions with an aggregate value in excess of £750 million. The business acts as principal on its own investments, with acquisitions completed through SPV structures, and transactions structured with comprehensive legal and financial support.
The Role
A hands-on conveyancing role managing residential and commercial property matters from instruction through to post-completion. The position sits within an in-house legal team while operating under the banner of a recognised law firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing residential and commercial conveyancing matters end to end
- Conducting title investigations, searches, and due diligence
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and related documentation
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Managing post-completion matters, including registrations, SDLT submissions, and requisitions
Requirements
- UK-qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE in property law
- Experience across residential and commercial conveyancing or with a focus either, and some experience in the other.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload
- Strong drafting, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Based within a commutable distance of Battersea, SW11
