About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive General Conveyancing Paralegal to join our busy and friendly property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support fee earners across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters while managing their own caseload where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Managing files including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages, and leasehold matters
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Conducting searches and raising enquiries
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
- Preparing completion statements and handling post-completion matters
- Maintaining accurate file records in line with compliance and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential
- Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process from start to finish
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Ability to manage a small caseload with minimal supervision
- Experience dealing with leasehold and new-build transactions
