Our client is a respected and long-established legal practice with multiple offices across Essex; this firm is known for delivering high-quality legal services with a personal touch. With a strong presence in the community and a team of over 100 professionals, they offer comprehensive support to both individuals and businesses.

Due to growth, they are looking for a driven and client-focused Solicitor to join their well-established Litigation department. This is your chance to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team with very flexible working arrangements and a real focus on work-life balance.

The role:

This is a broad litigation role where you will handle a varied caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters, delivering a high standard of legal service. You will take ownership of client files from instruction to resolution and play a key role in shaping and expanding their litigation offering.

What they are looking for:

• A qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in dealing with a broad mix of commercial and civil disputes
• Knowledge and previous experience in a number of litigation areas would be advantageous.
• Excellent client service skills
• An understanding of different clients and their needs based on your solid experience dealing with different clients.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and fostering strong relationships.
• The ability to work collaboratively and as part of a wider team.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Technically competent using modern case management systems as well as MS Word & Outlook
• Accustomed to meeting billings targets in a fee earning role.
