A excellent multi-office boutique with offices across Hertfordshire and London is looking for a Senior Litigation Solicitor to join their strong team in their Head Office. The firm is regularly recognised and highly awarded, having provided legal advice for over 400 years. Typical matters will encompass property litigation, professional negligence, and partnership disputes, making this the ideal role for a Senior Solicitor that enjoys managing a diverse and high-quality caseload. The firm in question has excellent opportunities for progression, including fast advancement up to Partnership, and provides competitive salaries and a good work/life balance.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of dispute resolution and litigation matters to include property disputes (residential and commercial), professional negligence matters, commercial litigation cases, and others.
  • Support junior members of staff in developing their careers and managing cases, with excellent supervision.
  • Attend client meetings, court hearings and conferences.
  • Deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations.
Skills and Experience:
  • UK qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with 5+ years PQE (other levels will be considered on a case by case basis).
  • Experience managing a wide variety of litigation matters, to include property and commercial disputes.
  • Exposure or interest in professional negligence matters.
  • Ability to lead in relevant matters and supervise junior members of staff when needed.
  • A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and colleagues.
