An established, multi-office Lexcel-accredited law firm is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Private Client team. The role is based in RM1, with some flexibility to travel between nearby branches for team and holiday cover.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of recent experience supporting solicitors in Wills and Probate. You should be confident preparing Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and Probate forms including IHT205, IHT217, and IHT400, with a strong understanding of private client processes and online probate applications. Experience using LEAP case management is highly desirable.
This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, a professional and friendly manner, strong organisation, and the ability to work independently in a busy environment. A typing speed of at least 60 WPM and familiarity with digital audio transcription are essential.
You’ll join a warm, collaborative team with genuine opportunities for career progression. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
