In-house Project Finance Solicitor – 3-5 PQE (flex) £100,000-140,000 City of London (Hybrid)
Our client, an international bank with a growing London office, is looking for a confident Associate or Senior Associate to join their legal department supporting their thriving Project Finance team. They function as the company's largest team in the UK, and you would primarily focus on assisting the team with syndicated finance, structured finance, and corporate advisory matters alongside in-office legal counsel the head of Legal (based internationally).

Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Project Finance team (infrastructure and energy) with syndicated loan and structured finance matters, ensure full compliance and due diligence is carried out while providing legal advice as needed.
- Support UK based legal counsel in providing the bank with legal support, advising senior Executives and ensuring full compliance.
- Work with legal counsel and report to Head of Legal on an international basis, supporting the global progress of project finance teams and on occasion travelling internationally.
- Support the development of the office and assist with office initiatives.
- UK qualified solicitor of 3-5 PQE or equivalent qualification. Other levels will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Excellent post-qualification experience from an internationally recognised law firm (or private employer), ideally sitting a training contract in a Top 50 UK firm, US firm, or major international Employer.
- Strong experience overseeing project finance and syndicated loan matters, ideally with some experience managing or assisting on structured finance matters.
- Strong academic background with a 2:1 degree at a minimum.
- The ability to speak conversational German is beneficial but in no way essential.
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and members of staff.
- High levels of attention to detail.
As remuneration, this employer offers a highly competitive salary at the top of the market with a package that includes 30 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), 10%+ pension contribution, private healthcare, and other benefits along market lines. They provide excellent hybrid working as standard and a 9-5 workday that is not normally achievable in a private practice environment.
