Our team is passionate about supporting clients through complex housing matters, and we are seeking a skilled and motivated Housing Paralegal to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fee earners and solicitors in managing a broad range of housing cases. You will handle your own caseload under supervision, provide administrative and legal support, and ensure timely, accurate delivery of work to meet client and organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of housing law matters, including possession claims, disrepair, homelessness, allocations, and landlord & tenant disputes.
- Drafting legal documents, witness statements, and court forms.
- Conducting legal research and preparing case bundles.
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and third parties.
- Supporting solicitors with hearings and case preparation.
- Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You:
- Minimum 1 year\’s experience as a Housing Paralegal (essential).
- Strong knowledge of housing law and related legislation.
- Excellent drafting, research, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client care skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
