A specialist litigation and Top-Tier Arbitration firm with a US head office is looking for a strong Associate to join their leading London team, handling a varied caseload of complex dispute resolution and commercial litigation matters.
The firm is highly regarded for their commercial litigation and international arbitration work, dealing with the largest investor state, commercial arbitration, commercial litigation, and financial litigation matters. As a specialist firm with a London office of over 80 qualified legal professionals, they are looking for an exceptional candidate to join their leading team to work on complex international matters, working at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of complex dispute resolution matters, including investor state matters, commercial arbitration, commercial litigation, and financial litigation cases.
- Assisting senior Solicitors and Partners with higher value matters and working collaboratively on the greater development of the team.
- Building relationships and developing a network of international clients.
- Maintaining the highest standard of care while ensuring full compliance and working to targets.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- UK Qualified Solicitor with 2 – 5 years PQE with a background in a history working in a “big firm” environment, ideally a US, Magic Circle, Silver Circle, or comparable international firm.
- Demonstrated track record of experience in international litigation and arbitration matters, handling significant matters independently or alongside senior Partners.
- Strong academics.
- Hard working personality and ability to work to high targets
- Proven attention to detail as well as organisational ability.
