We are currently recruiting for a Client Accounts Assistant to join a reputable, international law firm based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within legal finance, gaining hands-on experience across client accounts, legal cashiering, banking and financial compliance.
The role will support the Legal Cashiers and wider Finance Team with the processing of client and office account transactions, including receipts, payments and transfers. You will assist with daily bank reconciliations, maintain accurate client accounting records, monitor unidentified receipts and support the return of residual client balances. You will also assist with month-end processes, audit and compliance requirements, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and handled in line with the SRA Accounts Rules and the firm’s internal procedures.
We are looking for someone with strong numeracy skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in finance or legal cashiering. Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook is required, alongside strong data-entry skills and the ability to work accurately with financial information. Previous legal cashiering experience is essential, and knowledge of legal accounts or the SRA Accounts Rules is advantageous.
