The firm is looking to recruit a Senior Banking and Finance Associate to take over a large client base and manage relationships with banks, lenders, and borrowers. This role offers the opportunity to lead and further develop this practice, with the potential to progress to Equity Partner in the short term.
Transactions and advice:
- Advising domestic and global financial institutions, including banks, fintech companies, and investment entities, across retail, private, commercial, and corporate banking sectors.
- Acquisition and Leveraged Finance: Covering senior and mezzanine financing for buyouts, take-private deals, and refinancing arrangements across bilateral, club, and syndicated structures.
- Asset-Based Lending: Encompassing factoring, invoice discounting, receivables finance, and supplier finance solutions.
- Corporate and Commercial Banking: Providing guidance on secured and unsecured lending, growth capital, working capital facilities, related derivatives, secondary debt transactions, standard documentation, and inter-creditor agreements.
- International and Cross-Border Finance: Supporting secured and unsecured financing transactions across multiple jurisdictions, including advisory roles for global banking panels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing cases efficiently, ensuring profitability and exceptional client care.
- Developing strong existing and referrer relationships while driving new business opportunities.
- Setting clear service agreements with clients, ensuring transparency in pricing.
- Acting as the go-to expert for clients in the Banking and Finance practice.
- Taking ownership of key projects and contributing to strategic plans for the team and firm.
- Networking and entertaining key clients.
