DEBRA is recruiting for a friendly, approachable, and customer-orientated Relief Shop Manager to join our friendly, supportive team including volunteers based in Edinburgh, supporting stores in Stockbridge, South Queensferry, Linlithgow, Bathgate and other local stores as and when required.
Our Relief Shop Manager will join us on a Full Time, temporary basis working on a fixed term temporary 3 month contract of 35 hours per week, earning a salary of Β£24,242.40 per annum.
About DEBRA: We are a national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) β a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal.
What we are looking for in our Relief Shop Manager:
- You will be motivated and enthusiastic, with good customer service, retail administration and management skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure to meet targets and to help and support the efficient running of our stores.
- As this role will be supporting the Edinburgh area, you must have access to a car and hold a full clean driving licence.
Your Key Responsibilities in the role of Relief Shop Manager:
- Effectively recruit, maintain, and manage both paid employees and volunteers.
- Ensure a standard of excellence is maintained, in terms of customer service.
- Maximising profits to increase overall contribution of the store.
- Using online platforms to generate sales within store.
- Use visual merchandising talents to ensure the store is presented well and promoting commercial success.
- Generate quality donated goods to achieve processing targets to maintain shop density levels.
