Join our Lettings Team at L&Q: We are currently recruiting for a Lettings Operations Manager to work with our Head of Voids & Lettings to deliver a sector‑leading service across a large geographical region with direct responsibility for the financial and operational performance, ensuring that customers receive the best possible experience of the service. Your impact in the role:
- Ensure reliable and close partnership with the Head of Empty Homes and Lettings for the joint successful review and continuous transformation of the empty homes, lettings, and rehousing service, providing efficient management, and making recommendations around policy, procedure, and structure. This will include lettings, allocations, rehousing, void management, temporary accommodation, and decanting.
- Support the Trust’s key corporate objective of providing more new homes to rent across a range of tenures.
What you'll bring:
- Experience of business improvement, benchmarking, and service improvement
- A strong resource planning and management skills with ability to lead, motivate and inspire others
- Highly developed financial awareness and commercial acumen.
- Experience in operational housing management and lettings is essential.
- Highly developed relationship, client and/or stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills, with the ability to manage knowledge from external sources.
- Able to lead, manage and motivate others to deliver against defined objectives in a demanding customer facing environment, including the management of contracts and the relationship with sub-contractors.
- Ability to quickly interpret complex information and data and translate this into a business case for change.
