Salary: From £60,000 - 63,000 per annum dependant on experience.

Grade: 10

Reporting Office: London, Stratford

Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working).

We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Surveyor to lead a team of Surveyors delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services across our homes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced building surveying professional who enjoys leading people, solving complex technical issues and driving excellent customer outcomes. You'll play a key role in ensuring repairs are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, while supporting the performance and development of your team.

Reporting to the Surveying Manager, you'll lead a team of Surveyors, providing technical expertise across a broad range of repairs, insurance works, complaints and building defects. Working closely with colleagues across Repairs, Housing and Commercial teams, you'll help ensure our residents receive a responsive, high-quality service that delivers real value.

Your impact in the role:

  • Lead and develop a team of Surveyors to deliver a high-quality surveying service.
  • Oversee complex surveying cases, inspections and provide technical advice.
  • Monitor performance, quality and compliance to achieve service targets.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, contractors and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Help drive continuous improvement, value for money and excellent technical support.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience leading Surveying teams within housing repairs or property maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building surveying, repairs and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to write excellent surveying reports and review reports compiled by the team.
  • A relevant surveying qualification or willingness to study to degree level in a relevant subject.
