Join our Transformation & Change Delivery Team at L&Q: L&Q is one of the UK's largest housing associations and providers of social and affordable homes. We house around 250,000 people primarily across Greater London and Greater Manchester. Our purpose is simple - to provide social homes and landlord services that everyone can be proud of.
L&Q has just begun to deliver on our new 5-year strategy, with Transformation and Change a key enabler. We have a well-defined Transformation & Change portfolio, a very clear North Star to deliver an operating model that enables good landlord services and value for money. This will involve centrally designed services which are regionally delivered, so that they are reliable, repeatable and consistent, and fulfil local needs.
We are looking for a new Programme Management Analyst to join our team. This role will be a driving force for data-led transformation in one of the UK's leading housing associations. This is your chance to elevate portfolio visibility, challenge the status quo, and shape the future of our PMO reporting.
In this role, you will not just compile reports; you will dive deep into programme and project data, identify key delivery trends, and guide the shift from manual dashboards to automated, predictive analytics. You'll operate with autonomy to coach peers and directly influence senior leadership decisions.
We are looking for someone who can bring analytical rigour, constructive challenge, and robust governance to our project and programme reporting. You will be confident resolving data quality gaps, establishing a trusted 'single source of truth', and drive continuous PMO framework maturity to provide decision-makers with verified, forward-looking insights.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Programme Management Analyst who wants to make a meaningful impact in a large, purpose-led housing organisation, helping to ensure delivery risks are managed early, and project benefits are fully realised for our residents and colleagues.
If successful, you will report into the Senior Programme Manager - PMO within the Transformation & Change Delivery PMO, working alongside Portfolio Managers, Project Managers, Programme Managers, Heads of Programme and cross-functional teams to drive data integrity and delivery performance across L&Q.
Your impact in the role:
- Providing dedicated analytical support to the Transformation & Change PMO, establishing a trusted 'single source of truth' that drives robust governance across L&Q's Transformation and Change Portfolio.
- Analysing live programme and project data to uncover delivery trends, identify capacity bottlenecks, and highlight emerging risks, presenting forward-looking insights to enable data-driven leadership decisions.
- Owning and maturing our PMO data repositories, leading the transition from manual spreadsheets to automated reporting and standardised tooling.
- Validating stage-gate documentation, RAID logs, and change controls, constructively challenging project teams on baseline variances and business case inputs to protect planned benefits.
- Building trusted internal and external relationships across Finance, HR, Procurement, and third-party partners to resolve delivery blockers, align tracking standards, and mentor peers on governance best practice.
- Supporting overall Transformation outcomes by guaranteeing data integrity, enabling on-time programme and project delivery, and ensuring the successful delivery of strategic outcomes for our residents and colleagues.
What you'll bring:
- Formal Qualifications: P3O, MoP, PRINCE2, or APM (or equivalent project/programme/PMO frameworks).
- PMO Experience: A strong background operating in a structured PMO environment, with proven experience analysing portfolio data, tracking RAID logs, and applying stage-gate governance.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for complex data analysis and creating high-impact management reports.
- Communication & Influencing Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision, possesses a strong attention to detail, and enjoys coaching or mentoring peers.
- Hands-on experience deploying dedicated PMO software or driving reporting automation is desirable.
If you require any reasonable adjustments at any stage during this process, including application stage, please email.
