Contract Type: 12-month FTC, Full Time 35 hours per week

Salary starting from £48,691 per annum (London weighted salary) or £42,668 per annum (Regional salary)

Grade: 9

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford

Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

As we continue to evolve and transform our organisation, we're looking for an experienced Organisation Development Partner to play a key role in shaping our people, leadership, and learning strategies. Reporting to the OD Manager, you will be given a wide ranging and challenging remit. Your principal focus will be to deliver an effective organisation development and learning strategy that meets the current and future needs of the business.

Working across the business, you'll partner with leaders, HR colleagues and transformation teams to identify capability needs, design effective organisational development solutions, and deliver initiatives that build individual, team, and organisational performance. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll have the opportunity to influence change, develop leadership capability, and help create a high-performing culture.

Your Impact in the Role:

As an Organisation Development Partner, you'll help drive the development of our people and organisation, ensuring colleagues have the skills, capability, and support they need to succeed. In this role, you will:

  • Identify organisational capability, leadership and learning needs to support business priorities and transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with OD, Change, HR and Learning colleagues to design and deliver practical, impactful development solutions.
  • Lead and support organisation development projects from design through to implementation and evaluation.
  • Create and curate engaging learning resources, development tools and interventions that build capability across the organisation.
  • Work closely with project and change teams to ensure learning and development activity is aligned to business change and successfully embedded.
  • Coach and support leaders to strengthen leadership capability, manage change effectively, and build high-performing teams.
  • Manage relationships with external providers and delivery partners to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Measure effectiveness and gather feedback to demonstrate impact, drive continuous improvement, and ensure value is delivered.

By building capability and supporting organisational effectiveness, you'll help ensure L&Q remains a great place to work while continuing to deliver excellent outcomes for residents.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience of conducting learning needs analysis, translating concepts into practical solutions and identifying appropriate learning interventions, procuring training, delivering training and evaluating learning interventions against key performance indicators and strategic objectives.
  • Outstanding consultancy and relationship management skills proven within a similar role/OD/HR context in order to analyse and respond to emerging needs, taking into account the impacts on operational delivery and ensuring added value.
  • Previous experience of implementing large OD projects (full life cycle).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with HR professionals, L&D/OD teams and business stakeholders to build effective working relationships and to communicate with people in a constructive and professional manner to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Ability to self-manage with a high level of energy and flexibility to manage a varied and demanding workload, both independently, and by working collaboratively with others, negotiating assistance where appropriate.
  • Outstanding facilitation skills enabling participants to engage with material and learn effectively.
  • (Desirable) CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
  • (Desirable) Coaching qualification and/or accreditation in psychometric tools such as Insights Discovery, MBTI, or Belbin.
  • (Desirable) Experience using assessment and development tools to build leadership and organisational capability.
