Our New Business Team is responsible for a wide range of functions centred around land acquisition, design development and acquiring planning permissions to support the delivery of L&Q's new homes pipeline. The team also manages L&Q's commercial property portfolio.

We are looking for an ambitious graduate to join our New Business Team to support the delivery of L&Q's Greater London new homes pipeline and commercial property portfolio. This role is a great opportunity to work on exciting projects and be supported and trained by a highly skilled team. This role will support the New Business Team with day to day tasks with plenty of opportunities to take on responsibility and develop skills and knowledge in the land, planning and commercial industries. We are looking for someone who is aligned with L&Q's Values and social purpose.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience, skills and knowledge in supporting a leading Housing Association deliver its new homes pipeline and commercial portfolio in Greater London.

Your impact in the role:

  • The role will support the work of the New Business Team which covers three areas: Land Acquisition, Design and Planning, and Commercial Business Premises.
  • The role will be responsible for supporting the New Business Team with day to day tasks that contribute to delivery of the teams objectives, KPIs, services and overall development pipeline.
  • Prepare meeting materials, take minutes and attend project meetings.
  • Support development appraisals, market research and site visits.
  • Research planning policy and assist with planning reviews and appraisals.
  • Collect and analyse data, process invoices and support compliance activities.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and support project coordination.

What you'll bring:

  • Academic qualifications: 2:1 accredited RICS or RTPI degree or higher level.
  • Demonstrable collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and innovative problem solver.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisation skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to provide high levels of customer service.
  • Computer literate with a good proven competency in MS Office.
