Join our Data Protection Team at L&Q: This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Data Protection Team. You will be responsible for managing subject access requests from start to finish, ensuring legal deadlines are met and data is redacted and exemptions applied in line with the Data Protection Act 2018. Reporting to the Deputy Data Protection Officer, you will provide support to them and the Data Protection Officer in delivering compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your impact in the role: You will manage your own workload meticulously; logging and acknowledging subject access requests, locating and compiling the documentation, redacting data in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and responding to the customer. You will also respond to general data protection related queries. You will be the contact for internal and external customers, and other stakeholders for the subject access requests that you manage. You will need to build key relationships with teams around L&Q and to work collaboratively with them.
What you’ll bring:
- Working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Strong experience in a data protection role.
- Strong experience managing and responding to subject access requests.
- Strong administrative experience in a fast paced environment.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
