Join our Repairs Team at L&Q:
Our South West London region is one of our largest operational areas, covering Sutton, Croydon, Battersea, Wandsworth, Merton, Guildford, Redhill, and the surrounding areas. While successful candidates will be allocated a primary working area, they will be expected to work across the wider South West region as required to support service delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-established team, carrying out a diverse range of repairs and maintenance work across our housing stock.
It is essential to have a manual driving license to carry out this role.
Your impact in the role:
Our Multi trade/Carpenters are expected to carry out a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, splice repairs, general locksmith, bathroom sub floors, bath panels and framework kitchen repairs/refits and other general maintenance repairs.
Ideally you will also be able to carry out internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.
It is important to have effective communication skills, have experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment including a knowledge of a varied housing stock.
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to L&Q and as a first line of contact to our residents. We expect our operatives to have outstanding customer service and ability to deliver a right first-time service, limiting follow-ons and increasing satisfaction.
Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.
