Primary Job Purpose
Daytime only. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Assistant to join the resort on a seasonal basis, working as part of a small team. The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and will perform a variety of cleaning tasks across the resort, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Be responsible for cleanliness throughout the hotel, guest bedrooms, corridors, public areas and back‑of‑house areas.
- Enter and prepare rooms for cleaning, stripping beds, emptying bins, and collecting dirty bathroom towels.
- Ensure cleaning meets company standards.
- Replenish guest amenities as required.
- Respond to any guest requests.
- Report any maintenance issues within rooms.
- Replenish work trolleys and clean linen daily.
- Maintain consistent cleaning quality in every room.
- Work quickly and efficiently so rooms are ready on time for arrival.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and hygiene, wearing and keeping a clean uniform at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including department‑specific ones such as the left‑luggage policy.
- Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures.

Required Criteria
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- Experience in housekeeping.
- Experience in cleaning.
Desired Criteria
- Basic training in Health and Safety, including COSHH.
- Manual handling skills.
- Knowledge of hotels and housekeeping.
- Experience working in the hospitality industry.
