Position requires flexible shift patterns including morning, late‑evening and weekend shifts. Minimum age 18.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior guest experience and maximise revenue by promoting upselling from the Drinks Library.
- Input all food & beverage orders into the point‑of‑sale system, accurately total, process, and collect payments.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of whiskey, gin, cocktails, wine selection, wine service, beer service and prepare mixed drinks according to recipes and portion control standards.
- Maintain the bar area and surrounding spaces to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Remain visible and available to guests at all times.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked, clean, and tidy at all times.
- Build rapport with guests to establish loyalty and advise management of any complaints promptly.
- Verify customer identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with statutory and company laws.
- Monitor and maintain hygiene standards and practices.
- Assist in service preparation, including cleaning and maintaining glassware and china.
- Perform checks on tables and room‑service duties.
- Maximise service opportunities to encourage return visits.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, wearing a clean uniform.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including cash handling, card payments, and end‑of‑shift cashing up.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
- Previous experience preferred.
Qualifications & Requirements
- GCSE English grade C /4 or above.
- Microsoft Excel beginner level (Intermediate level preferred).
- Experience working in hospitality or events.
- Customer‑service experience.
- Experience dealing with customer complaints (desired).
- Willingness to undertake further training.
- Experience working to service delivery standards (desired).
- Minimum age 18.
