Join our Repairs Team at L&Q. The Thames London team repairs team are looking for a Multi-skilled Plumber to join the team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
Our plumbers deal with all aspects of plumbing repairs and replacements of sinks, water tanks, and bathrooms. In addition to plumbing they will have associated skills and experience in basic carpentry, tiling, painting/decorating, and patch plastering repairs. We will expect effective communication skills and experience of working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment, including knowledge of a varied housing stock. Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to L&Q; operatives must deliver outstanding customer service and achieve right first‑time service to limit follow‑ups and increase satisfaction. Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general, with opportunities to earn more from call‑outs and out‑of‑hours service.
Requirements
- Sound working trade knowledge and experience
- Experience gained within a Maintenance, site and/or Housing environment and NVQ
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Health and Safety conscious
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Carpentry skills and experience
