Key Responsibilities:
- Turning complex data into happy employees every month
- Take ownership of the Starters and Leavers process within 2 payrolls
- Run the Auto‑Enrolment Pension on a monthly basis and handle related administration
- Cover maternity leave
- Work as part of a team of 10, reporting to Senior Payroll Administrator
Your impact in the role:
- Main duties: Starters / leavers, pension processing, maintaining monthly spreadsheets and reconciliations.
- Work to achieve monthly targets / deadlines ready for the monthly pay run.
- Communicate within the team to ensure all processes are complete.
What you’ll bring:
- Good knowledge of statutory legislation regarding the new starters and leavers process and the rules regarding Auto‑Enrolment pension schemes.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a high‑volume payroll while maintaining excellent customer service to the business and the team.
- Experience working with multiple software, including the itrent payroll system.
- A keen eye for detail and confidence to challenge data that may be incorrect.
- Excellent MS Excel/Word skills, including mail merge and V‑Lookup.
