Working Location: South East London and surrounding areas

Persona: Mobile worker - contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required

Job Overview:

Join our Repairs Team at L&Q: Our South East London repairs team are looking for skilled Carpenters to join the team on a permanent basis. The area covers Lewisham and Bromley and surrounding areas. It is essential to have a manual driving licence to carry out this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a range of tasks including internal and external door fitting, splice repairs, general locksmith, bathroom sub floors, bath panels and framework kitchen repairs/refits, and other general maintenance repairs.
  • Carry out internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.
  • Have effective communication skills and experience working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment, with knowledge of a varied housing stock.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and right‑first‑time service, limiting follow‑ons and increasing satisfaction.
  • Normative work hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with opportunities to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.

What You'll Bring:

  • Sound working trade knowledge and experience

  • NVQ or equivalent preferred
