We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated apprentice to join our busy Disrepair team as an Apprentice Disrepair Building Surveyor. This is a great opportunity to start your career in surveying gaining hands-on experience across a varied property portfolio.
Overview of the role:
- Support the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused surveying service across L&Q’s property portfolio.
- Assist with property inspections, helping to identify defects, understand their causes, and gather key information such as measurements and photographic evidence.
- Involved in a range of activities to support the management of property issues and repairs (known as disrepair cases), including drafting reports, contributing to schedules of work, and supporting the delivery and quality checking of repairs on site.
- Work closely with residents, contractors, and internal teams to help progress cases and deliver positive outcomes.
- Complete a Level 3 Surveying Technician Apprenticeship developing your technical knowledge and professional skills.
Strong organisation skills are essential to this role as well as effective communication and an understanding of what first-class customer service skills are. We are looking for a candidate with resilience, drive, enthusiasm, and a passion to help people.
Please note: You will be expected to work towards holding a full driving licence and access to a vehicle by the end of the apprenticeship if progressing into a permanent role.
