Location: North East London (Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Havering)

Persona: Mobile Working (van provided) contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required

Reporting Office: West Ham Lane, Stratford

Join our Repairs Team at L&Q. We are looking for an experienced Multi trade Plasterer to work within our Responsive Repairs covering our north east region housing stock on a permanent basis. The areas covered will include Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Havering.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a wide range of plastering maintenance repairs and decorating
  • Deliver quality workmanship within your specific trades and without close supervision
  • Be a confident painter and decorator, and ideally skilled in other trades
  • Perform patch repairs and larger plastering repairs, including plasterer boarding, bond set, finishing and rendering
  • Use your L&Q van for business use; must have a driving licence and own hand tools (power tools provided)

Requirements:

  • Sound working trade qualification, knowledge and experience
  • Experience gained within a maintenance environment
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service
  • Right‑first‑time approach
  • Health and safety conscious
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Dual trade skills

Core team hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. We expect effective communication skills, knowledge of varied housing stock, and outstanding customer service to deliver a right‑first‑time service.
