Employment Details

  • Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time, 36.25 hours per week
  • Salary: From £30,387 per annum depending on experience
  • Grade: 6
  • Reporting Office: Manchester, Trafford
  • Persona: Mobile/Field Based Worker – contract hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes, estates, etc., with ad-hoc office attendance as required
  • Working Pattern: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

  • You will lead the local maintenance team on site, mentoring members from diverse backgrounds, ensuring customer standards and targets are delivered, recording time on site, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • You will use customer feedback to improve service delivery and operate within relevant health and safety regulations.

Impact

  • Work alongside operatives to provide grounds maintenance services
  • Carry out tenancy clearance duties
  • Mentor and develop team members

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a corporate environment
  • Experience in grounds maintenance
  • Leadership experience or demonstrable leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Full driving licence – required to drive L&Q fleet vans
  • PA1 and PA6 City & Guilds qualifications are advantageous
  • Experience with chipping, chainsaw, and use of a variety of equipment and hand tools
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of COSHH legislation
