LQ is seeking a Senior Partnership Manager to join the Major Works team on a permanent basis. The Senior Partnership Manager manages a regional team responsible for implementation, delivery, and quality of designated Major Works projects. In this key leadership role, you will oversee a regional team responsible for the delivery, quality, and performance of major works programmes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You will play a critical part in maintaining our property assets in line with agreed programmes, while providing accurate feedback to support future planning and performance improvement.
Reporting directly to the Head of Delivery, you will lead a team of Partnership Managers, Delivery Programme Leads, and a Technical Inspector, driving performance, accountability, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Your impact in the role:
- You’ll have experience working in a major works team and understand how projects are delivered, monitored, and completed to a high standard.
- In this role you will act as the client representative for all related contracts in line with the requirements of the contract. Responsible for the collection, monitoring, review and reporting of all risks, cash-flows, and other associated processes within agreed timescales, and be responsible for the successful delivery of a partnership.
- This role will cover the South LQ regional delivery team. Responsible for implementation, delivery, and quality of designated Major Works projects.
- The role will cover locations such as Greenwich, Bexley, Lewisham, Lambeth, Bromley, Southwark and surrounding locations. With some onward travel.
What you'll bring:
- You will ensure that the trust property assets are maintained in line with the allocated programme and budgets set out. Also ensuring that information on works carried out or no longer required and fed back into the performance team, to allow accurate future programming.
- You will work with the pre-construction team to ensure future year’s works programmes are in place in a timely manner.
- The Senior Partnership Managers will need to be a good leader and have excellent communication and people skills to motivate your team. Ideally you will have previous experience within a major works team and have a good understanding of delivery activities.
- You will be acting as the client representative for all related contracts in line with the requirements of the contract. Responsible for the collection, monitoring, review and reporting of all risks, cash-flows, and other associated processes within agreed timescales, and be responsible for the successful delivery of a partnership.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- Experienced people manager with excellent customer service skills
- Able to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen, including risk management skills at the highest level. Including financial reporting and presenting to internal stakeholders at a high level.
- Demonstrate collaboration and influencing skills, with key stakeholders.
- Computer literate, with previous experience in managing asset management data, Excellent MS office skills.
- Good working knowledge of standard measured term partnering forms of contract
- Good understanding of regulatory compliance for fire risk management
- Degree educated in a construction-related course or relative experience.
