Role purpose: This is an exciting opportunity to shape how performance data is used across services, turning complex information into powerful insight that directly improves outcomes for residents. The MI Analyst designs dashboards, strengthens data quality and provides clear, actionable insight that supports managers and senior leaders to make evidence-based decisions. The role supports consistent, trusted performance information that enables early intervention and continuous service improvement. The role reports to the Customer Experience Manager in the Customer Experience Team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver and maintain high-quality management information, including performance reports, dashboards and analytical insights that support evidence-based decision making across the department.
- Collaborate with service managers, senior leaders, performance colleagues and system owners to ensure data is accurate, consistently defined and clearly understood.
- Help teams quickly identify what’s working and what isn’t, prioritise issues, and take timely action to keep performance on track and achieve departmental goals.
What you'll bring:
- Strong analytical and insight capability — ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, risks and root causes, and translate into clear, actionable performance insights.
- High-quality, impactful MI delivery — experience producing performance reports, dashboards and management information for operational managers and senior leaders, with clear written commentary, visualisations and presentations.
- Confident influencer and performance improver — ability to work with stakeholders, challenge and support teams to use performance data, identify improvements and implement solutions.
