Your impact in the role:
As our Landlord Certificate Lead, you’ll take ownership of delivering accurate, compliant Landlord’s Certificates, ensuring certificates are completed, maintained, stored and issued in full compliance with the Building Safety Act and internal policy. You will work closely with the Homeownership team, build strong relationships and provide expert support on Building Safety Act enquiries. You’ll provide expert advice and coordination on sales, remortgages and other leaseholder transactions impacted by the Landlord’s Certificate requirements, playing a key role in improving our data, processes, and overall service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate, compliant Landlord’s Certificates.
- Ensure certificates are completed, maintained, stored and issued in full compliance with the Building Safety Act and internal policy.
- Work closely with the Homeownership team.
- Build strong relationships and provide expert support on Building Safety Act enquiries.
- Provide expert advice and coordination on sales, remortgages and other leaseholder transactions impacted by the Landlord’s Certificate requirements.
- Improve data, processes, and overall service delivery.
What you’ll bring:

- Good understanding of building safety legislation, leasehold and their regulatory environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise own workload with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage complex information, maintain accurate records and meet statutory timescales.
- Comfortable engaging with internal & external stakeholders at all levels to influence decisions.
- Ability to work methodically and independently, exercising sound judgement and attention to detail in a compliance-critical environment.
Desirable:
- Effective written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports/data.
- Ability to develop, document and improve policies, procedures and guidance, translating legislation and regulation into clear operational practice.
