Persona: Mobile Working (van provided) contractual hours to be worked from various locations such as resident homes with ad hoc office attendance as required

Overview

Join our Repairs Team at L&Q: L&Q are looking for an experienced Multi trader/UPVC operative to work within our Reactive Maintenance Team covering the following areas Hackney, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea and Barnet and Enfield. Plus parts of central London. The role will be dealing with all aspects of internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs. Carpentry skills will be required for you to fulfill this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal and external window repairs, including single and double glazing, door and lock refits.
  • Provide carpentry work as required to restore windows and doors.
  • Travel to jobs from home address, following schedules distributed via PDA.
  • Serve residents as a first line of contact with outstanding customer service and aim for right‑first‑time solutions.
  • Work core hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with opportunities to earn additional pay from call‑outs and out‑of‑hours service.

Qualifications

  • Sound working trade knowledge and experience.
  • Experience within a maintenance, site or housing environment.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Right‑first‑time approach.
  • Health and safety conscious.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Wide range of multi‑trade skills.
