About the role
Our East London and Essex repairs team are looking for skilled Carpenters to join the team on a permanent basis. It is essential to have a manual driving license to carry out this role.
Your impact in the role:
- Carry out a range of tasks inclusive of internal and external door fitting, splice repairs, general locksmith, bathroom sub floors, bath panels and framework kitchen repairs/refits and other general maintenance repairs.
- Carry out internal/external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.
- Effective communication skills, experience working in a building and/or housing maintenance environment, knowledge of varied housing stock.
- Outstanding customer service and ability to deliver right-first-time service.
Core hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm in general. Opportunity to earn more from call outs and out of hours service.
What you'll bring
- Sound working trade knowledge and experience.
- Experience gained within a maintenance, site and/or housing environment.
- NVQ or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Right first-time approach.
