Team and Location:
Join our Repairs Team at L&Q: Our South West London repairs team are looking for skilled Carpenters to join the team on a permanent basis. The area covers Sutton, Croydon, Wandsworth, Merton and surrounding areas. It is essential to have a manual driving licence to carry out this role.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of tasks including internal and external door fitting, splice repairs, general locksmith, bathroom sub floors, bath panels and framework, kitchen repairs/refits and other general maintenance repairs.
- Carry out internal and external window repairs including single and double glazing, repairs to doors, lock refits and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with residents and meet customer satisfaction objectives, ensuring a right first‑time service.
Core hours and opportunities:
Core hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. There is the opportunity to earn more from call outs and out‑of‑hours service.
Qualifications and experience:
- Sound working trade knowledge and experience.
- Experience gained within a maintenance, site or housing environment.
- NVQ or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service and a right first‑time approach.
- Health and Safety conscious.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Wide range of multi‑trade skills.
