At Ayvens, we’re shaping the future of mobility and delivering smarter, more sustainable solutions for our customers. We invite you to join our Bristol-based Fleet Services Team as a Maintenance / Technical Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Control, manage and authorise maintenance expenditure to deliver service excellence to internal and external customers while containing costs.
- Efficiently process high volumes of online authorisation requests and daily enquiries, issuing order numbers and agreeing RMT costs.
- Authorise recharges/reimbursements to customers, ensuring agreement is sought where required.
- Maintain regular contact with customers, communicate with vehicle manufacturers and liaise with their representatives on after‑sales policy matters.
- Build relationships and develop trust with customers and/or drivers.
- Meet all agreed SLA’s and KPIs while maintaining a high level of service focus.
- Keep abreast of market conditions, industry and organisational changes to achieve optimum value from negotiations.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Workshop experience and a mechanic qualification or equivalent experience.
- Ideal: Apprenticeship in the motor trade combined with experience in a customer‑facing role.
- Proven ability to negotiate with service centres.
- Strong communication skills – able to convey technical knowledge in a non‑technical way.
- Excellent attention to detail and resilience, with the ability to follow a process and meet deadlines.
