At Ayvens, we’re shaping the future of mobility and delivering smarter, more sustainable solutions for our customers. We invite you to join our Bristol-based Fleet Services Team as a Maintenance / Technical Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control, manage and authorise maintenance expenditure to deliver service excellence to internal and external customers while containing costs.
  • Efficiently process high volumes of online authorisation requests and daily enquiries, issuing order numbers and agreeing RMT costs.
  • Authorise recharges/reimbursements to customers, ensuring agreement is sought where required.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers, communicate with vehicle manufacturers and liaise with their representatives on after‑sales policy matters.
  • Build relationships and develop trust with customers and/or drivers.
  • Meet all agreed SLA’s and KPIs while maintaining a high level of service focus.
  • Keep abreast of market conditions, industry and organisational changes to achieve optimum value from negotiations.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Workshop experience and a mechanic qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Ideal: Apprenticeship in the motor trade combined with experience in a customer‑facing role.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with service centres.
  • Strong communication skills – able to convey technical knowledge in a non‑technical way.
  • Excellent attention to detail and resilience, with the ability to follow a process and meet deadlines.
