Join Our Team Supporting U.S. Military Dining Operations

LPR International is seeking experienced Temporary/Contingency Cooks to support Dining Facility operations at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall. This six-month assignment is ideal for dependable cooks who enjoy a busy, team-oriented kitchen environment and can provide coverage for staffing shortages, planned absences and other operational requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook meals using established Air Force recipes and production standards
  • Support high-volume meal production and service
  • Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely
  • Prepare flight and ground meals as required
  • Maintain food quality, presentation and portion standards
  • Follow HACCP, food safety and sanitation requirements
  • Assist with inventory and production planning
  • Work as part of a professional dining facility team

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of traceable cooking experience
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Ability to meet RAF installation access/background requirements
  • Good English communication skills
  • Dependable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25kg

Preferred: High-volume or institutional kitchen experience, NVQ/City & Guilds qualification, military food-service experience or HACCP knowledge.

Schedule

Morning Shift: 05:00-14:00 | Day Shift: 10:30-19:30

This is a 365-day operation, so weekend and holiday availability may be required. Hours may vary based on operational and staffing requirements.
