We work with landlords, housing associations, and commercial clients. Due to continued growth and increased gas servicing and repair works across London, we are seeking a qualified Gas Engineer to join our team.
The Role
As a Gas Engineer, you will carry out gas servicing, maintenance, and repair works across residential and commercial properties. You will work independently while being fully supported by our North London office and operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out gas servicing, repairs, and breakdowns
- Complete annual gas safety checks (CP12s)
- Diagnose and repair gas appliances and systems
- Install and replace boilers and associated pipework (where qualified)
- Carry out fault finding on heating and hot water systems
- Complete job reports, certificates, and photographs via mobile device
- Work professionally in occupied properties
- Liaise with tenants, landlords, housing officers, and site managers
- Ensure all works comply with current gas safety regulations
- Follow company procedures and health & safety requirements
About You
You will be a qualified and reliable Gas Engineer with strong technical skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working in domestic properties (commercial experience beneficial)
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for job updates
- Full UK Driving Licence
Required Qualifications
Gas Safe Registration (Domestic – essential)
- ACS qualifications including:
- CCN1
- CENWAT
- HTR1 (desirable)
- CKR1 (desirable)
- Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds in Gas or Plumbing & Heating
