This is an opportunity to join an Outstanding-rated domiciliary care provider with an exceptional reputation for both client care and staff wellbeing, and to work alongside an experienced Registered Manager who is looking to gradually step back over time.
We're looking for someone ambitious. Someone who loves domiciliary care, understands the realities of running a service, and is ready for the next step in their career. In the early stages, you'll work as a dual-registered manager, sharing responsibilities and learning the finer details of the business from someone who has already built something special. Over time, you'll be given the opportunity to take greater ownership and help shape the future of the service.
If you're currently a Deputy Manager, Care Manager or Assistant Manager within domiciliary care and have been waiting for the right opportunity to progress, this could genuinely be the making of you.
Why This Role Is DifferentThis is a family-run business that genuinely values its people. You'll be joining a premium care provider with an Outstanding CQC rating, a strong local reputation and a culture built around quality rather than volume.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Learn from an experienced Registered Manager
- Develop towards full Registered Manager responsibilities
- Help grow an already successful business
- Influence future strategy and service development
- Lead a team that genuinely cares about delivering outstanding care
- Build meaningful relationships with clients, families and Care Professionals
Most importantly, you'll be supported throughout the journey rather than being thrown in at the deep end.
The RoleWorking closely with the leadership team, you'll support the day-to-day management of the service whilst gradually developing your leadership and operational responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the management of a high-quality domiciliary care service
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
- Conducting care assessments and reviews
- Supporting quality assurance and service improvement
- Managing and developing Care Professionals
- Building relationships with clients and families
- Supporting business growth and client acquisition
- Monitoring service performance and compliance
- Taking part in the on-call rota
- Helping to drive the business forward as it enters its next phase of growth
We're far more interested in attitude, ambition and domiciliary care experience than whether you've already held a Registered Manager position. You'll ideally have:
- Experience working within domiciliary care
- Previous supervisory, deputy or management experience
- Good knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
- Strong leadership and people skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional care
- Commercial awareness and a desire to grow a business
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Level 5 qualifications are welcomed but not essential if you're willing to work towards them.
For the right person, this isn't simply a job. It's a chance to build your future within an Outstanding care business, work alongside experienced leaders and eventually step into a key leadership role with the support and mentoring needed to succeed.
If you've ever thought: "I'd love to be a Registered Manager one day, but I wish someone would give me the chance to learn properly first..." then we'd love to hear from you. Apply today for a confidential conversation.
