Job Title: Asbestos Report Reviewer

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Report Reviewer on behalf of a well-established asbestos management company that provides survey and testing services to a diverse range of public and private sector clients across the UK. As the company continues to experience significant growth, they are looking to add a dedicated professional to join their team, providing vital technical support in reviewing asbestos reports and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review asbestos survey reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Identify discrepancies or missing information and communicate findings.
  • Ensure reports meet the company’s quality standards, HSE guidelines, and UKAS accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of reviews and provide feedback where necessary.
  • Stay up to date with asbestos regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with surveyors, analysts, and other technical staff to uphold consistency and quality across all reports.
  • Use Teams asbestos software effectively to access, review, and update reports.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience reviewing asbestos reports is essential
  • Experience working for a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, HSE guidelines, and UKAS standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Teams asbestos software or similar asbestos management/reporting systems
