As Kellanova embarks on a transformative journey while maintaining our position as a global leader, we are reimagining growth across Foodservice with a focus on vending and whitespace. This role puts you at the forefront of shaping how we sell, win, and lead in a scaled snacks powerhouse. This 12‑month Fixed Term Contract National Account Manager role gives you full ownership of the vending, QSR, On‑Trade and whitespace channels in the Away from Home team. You’ll deliver financial targets, lead forecasting, build strong customer partnerships, and influence how customers purchase our iconic snacking products and cereals.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Commercial Acumen & Performance Delivery – Deliver targeted Kellanova KPIs across financial periods, owning both input and output metrics and ensuring delivery of internal and external performance targets.
- Strategic Customer Partnership – Build and maintain strategic, future‑focused partnerships with customers to deliver our plans across the short, medium and long term.
- Financial Ownership – Deliver quarterly and annual internal output targets versus budget and prior year, including Net Sales Value, Gross Margin and Gross Margin %.
- Category & Trade Leadership – Deliver annual internal input targets across Category Vision, Assortment, Distribution, Price & Pack, Visibility, Promotional Plan & Pressure, Activation, Trade Strategy and Supply Chain.
- Forecasting & S&OP Accountability – Develop accurate volume forecasts in partnership with the customers and input into the Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring robust forecast accuracy and alignment through to execution while managing risks and opportunities.
- Joint Business Planning – Lead the customer relationships through the creation, execution and management of annual plans, building the business for long‑term, mutual benefit.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership – Act as the voice of the customers internally, championing what’s needed to win and working cross‑functionally with Commercial Strategy, Category Management, Marketing and other internal partners to develop winning solutions and plans.
- People Leadership – Manage, coach and develop a National Account Executive who will report directly into you, driving performance and capability growth.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Proven experience in a KAM, Senior KAM or National Account Manager role. Foodservice and vending customer experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong confidence and presence, with the ability to build trusted customer relationships.
- A proactive, driven mindset with real hunger to deliver and own results.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data, interpret reports and translate insight into action.
- Comfort with technology and systems, using data to manage KPIs and performance.
- Experience managing forecasts, supply and promotional plans with numerous customers.
- The courage to be bold, challenge where needed and lead performance through change.
