If you’re naturally curious, have a flair for numbers and are looking for your next challenge, come join us as a Category Executive on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based in our fantastic and vibrant Media City, Manchester head office (hybrid working schedule).

As a key member of the category team with the ability to translate category performance drivers, consumer insight and shopper trends into retailer and shopper occasion category stories, to allow us to deliver the triple win for Kellanova, Retailers and the Customer.

In this Category Executive role, you will be responsible for category analysis, insight development and delivery and owning customer category opportunities through the full category management process. We will want you to build trusts with your functions, working alone and together to ensure we are driving our business forward using the insights and data you find and work with.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Commercial Engagement – Be the expert on your category area, working cross functionally with the RGM, marketing and commercial teams to highlight opportunities and risks that impact Kellanova and Category growth.
  • Effective Communication – Be the storyteller on relevant insights that drive our business performance & sharing this category narrative monthly across the business.
  • Category Acumen - Category management responsibility & support for specific customers, support buyers and account managers by building compelling category recommendations & actions to grow category sales, and then influencing them to execute range reviews in line with customer timings & objectives.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into insight.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks whilst meeting key deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail, ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in a large database.
  • Excellent communication, presentation & influencing skills.
  • Great relationship building skills to work effectively cross functionally.
